Introduction to Paid Digital Advertising

This workshop is aimed at businesses who are new to paid advertising and would like to know how to use Facebook & Instagram and Google Ads for their business.

Those attending should already have an active business website and Facebook & Instagram accounts in place for their business and should be familiar with the basic workings of them.

Introduction to Facebook and Instagram Advertising

  • The difference between designing an Ad Campaign and ‘boosting’ a post.
  • Understanding how an Advertising Campaign is structured in Ads Manager.
  • Knowing which objective to use in Ads Manager.
  • How to build different audiences.
  • How to construct a high performing advert.
  • Testing and measuring the success of your campaigns.

 

Introduction to Google Advertising

  • Setting the foundations for a good Google Ads account.
  • Understanding the differences between SEO and SEM.
  • Introduction to keywords and negative keywords.
  • Connecting the different tech platforms required to run Google Ads.
  • An overview of Search, Shopping and Remarketing campaigns.
  • Definitions of the common Google Ads metrics.
  • Introduction to Google Analytics.

 

You will come out of this workshop with the foundations for starting to design and manage paid advertising campaigns for your business and how to measure their success.
