38. Peter Drucker interpreted for small business part 10

This is the last part on Drucker. Drucker wrote a lot about motivation. Although like Frederick Winslow Taylor he wanted to build a business system, unlike Taylor Drucker is always aware of the human dimension. He talks about the need to be passionate about what you do, always learning and enjoying. This is not always easy to do on a wet Tuesday when no customers have walked through the door for several hours. (It really does not matter which day and whether you have a door or not, the principle is the same).

But how do you then react when one turns up? Does it make your day and does that customer leave your shop impressed with your enthusiasm for your products, your willigness to help?
