How to present your business in the best light possible

You know your business inside out. You have a wealth of experience. You’re passionate about what you do. So when you talk about it, why aren’t people paying attention? What’s stopping your message from landing?

Your ideas are only as good as your ability to communicate them. Unless your business is run entirely virtually, at some point you will find yourself needing to speak about it to potential clients, customers or connections. Perhaps at a networking event or even during a pitch or presentation. But how do you translate the confidence you have in your business into confidence to speak about it in a way that makes an impact?

The good news is that anyone can learn to be a clear, confident and compelling speaker. Speech and presentation coaching demystifies this process and equips you with the skills and techniques that are essential to making a great first impression and keeping people engaged.

As human beings in a digital world, we spend a lot of time in our own heads and hunched over a screen. Over time, we’ve gradually lost the natural, effortless connection to our bodies and voices that came so easily to us as children. Without realising it, we develop unconscious habits that can weaken or distract from the message we want to share. At Artfully Speaking, I use the foundations of my classical actor training to help people rediscover that connection so that they can maximise their personal impact and ensure their voices are heard.

On 26th September I’ll be running a communication skills workshop at STANTA on the techniques you can use to become a more effective communicator when you speak up for your business. We will focus on practical exercises and interactivity so that you can try out new skills in a low-stakes environment, before using them to make an impact in the real world.
