St Albans and District Chamber of Commerce was formed in 1907 to ‘further the interest of businesses in the area ensuring positive growth and development’. Over one hundred and twenty years later we are still committed to these objectives, providing a forum for business networking in St Albans and aiming to be a voice for our members.

Business Buzz

Business Buzz St Albans is a fresh vibe in business networking. This face-to-face drop-in session is a great way to catch up with the local business community in Hertfordshire. There’s no membership, no pre-booking required, just £10 + VAT payable on our app in advance, or at the event.

Meeting every 3rd Thursday of each month between 10am-12pm at The Beech House, 81 St Peters Street, St Albans, AL1 3EG.

Netwalks

Netwalks are a mix of walking and networking in the fresh air, followed usually by coffee, cake and a chat at an independent coffee shop.

The Netwalks are a gentle stroll taking usually no more than an hour. Dogs are welcome on all walks and at most coffee venues afterwards as are small people in pushchairs.

Wheathampstead Businesses

Wheathampstead Businesses’ aim is to promote, support and protect Wheathampstead and local businesses.

This is done in a number of ways:  maintaining a local business directory on our website,  monthly networking events (breakfast and lunch) and taking up local issues such as parking and CCTV with the local councils.  We also support the community on Village Day and Lights Up and produce the bi-annual Window on Wheathampstead Directory.   Annual membership is £25 or £50 for Premium membership. Anyone living or working in the village can join, or any other local business that isn’t already represented.

The ‘We Are’ Community was set up in lockdown 2020 as a friendly place to help connect the local community to local businesses, and vice versa.

Harpenden Connect is a local business networking group, covering Harpenden and the surrounding area.

Meeting monthly, the group provides an excellent opportunity for local business owners to promote themselves and create new working relationships.

The group meets every second Thursday of each month at Rothamsted Cafe, Harpenden from 10 till 11.30. With no fees and free parking the only cost to you is your coffee!

The Athena Network St Albans North and South Groups

The Athena Network is the The Leading Networking, Training & Development Business Club For Female Executives And Entrepreneurs.

St Albans Business Women's Group

Originally formed in 2002 the group has undergone various changes over the years but has remained true to the original, simple idea; to create a forum where business women who work or live in and around the St Albans’ area can meet and form business links and friendships. Padel and Pizza Business Networking

A different kind of local business networking at Batchwood, St Albans. Play padel, share pizza, and make introductions that actually matter. First session starts Tuesday 28 July 2026, 12–2pm, then monthly thereafter.

£40 per person. Ticket includes padel and half a pizza, with max 24 people per session.
