Presenting to the camera with confidence

Time: 10am - 3pm

10am-3pm with light lunch provided.

 

Our aim is give you the skills and confidence to present to camera whilst engaging your audience whether it is for video, Facebook Live or YouTube.

The course takes place in a fully equipped studio in St Albans using the latest camera and sound technology, green screen and Autocue.

Because video is a must these days we give you hints and tips on how to present to camera and advice in the form of:

  • How to feel calm, composed and confident in front of camera
  • How to sound and look confident when you speak
  • Help if you have little or no experience of presenting to camera and want to learn more
  • Perhaps you are an experienced presenter in front of camera or at live events and wish to revisit some all-important presentation skills we can help you too

. The importance of body language, voice and tone

. How to deliver a strong intro’ and outro’.

. The importance of content and how to engage with your audience by delivery of a strong, succinct message with impact

. How to dress for camera

Spaces available for 8 maximum to allow time for filming, playback, critique the rehearsal and recording of a 30 second piece to camera ‘About Me’ and your 60 second pitch.

 

Karen Witchells-Plunkett is a broadcast journalist & trainer whose background in Theatre, TV and Radio spans over 25 years. She presents extensively for corporate clients both in the UK and Internationally at conferences, facilitating events, product launches and videos.

Cost £90 with the option to buy your fully edited footage at £30
