Rob Welch of smallcarBIGCITY came to see STANTA in 2008, after leaving university – where he had decided he did not want to work for anyone else – with his idea for site-seeing tours of London in classic Mini-Coopers (a passion of his). After many struggles including meeting licensing requirements, Rob started in September 2009 and now has a fleet of six cars and runs 90 tours a month. SmallcarBIGCITY has just been listed No 1 in the 101 Greatest Things to do in London by Time Out. Rob said: “Without STANTA’s expert advice and preparation my chances of making it through the notoriously difficult first year of trading would have been significantly compromised.”
