Executive Director and Business Advisor
Mel has BA and MBA qualifications with over 20 years sales and marketing experience.
For 12 years he was Managing Director of a niche catalogue sales and contract furnishing business based in Hertfordshire.
Mel is responsible for the direction of the Enterprise Agency and its subsidiary St Albans Property Services, which runs Stanta Business Centre. Mel is also a business advisor for STANTA.
Ginny worked as a PA to various directors at a major London retailer for 14 years.
Since 2000, Ginny has managed the administration of STANTA, including its premises. Ginny is also the project co-ordinator of the ERDF funded Herts Start-Up Programme.
Mike qualified as a chartered accountant and ran his own large retail business in Harpenden for 35 years, until selling out in 2002.
He joined STANTA as a business advisor and book-keeper and is also assists Mel at the Business Planning seminars.
Mark spent his early career in small business banking with NatWest, then accountancy and audit. In 2003 Mark set up TaxAssist Accountants providing tax and accountancy services to small businesses. Mark grew this business quickly to 900 clients and 13 staff and successfully sold the business in 2012. Mark also holds a couple of non-executive director roles.
Mark joined STANTA in 2016 as a business advisor and now uses his experience advising small businesses how to be successful and to keep and eye on costs and profit margins.
